Kirill Khabituev
Generative Artist · Interactive Media DeveloperKirill Khabituev is a generative artist and interactive media developer based in Almaty, working internationally. He designs and builds interactive installations and generative visuals — from the first concept through development to on-site setup and launch.
He has always been drawn to work that sits between disciplines. He studied biotechnical systems — a field where physics, engineering, biology and materials science meet — and later found the same kind of mix in interactive installations, where code, visuals, space and sometimes sound come together. His way in was through motion design: an interest in it brought him to a vvvv workshop, where building an interactive installation with Kinect made it clear this was the work he wanted to do. Getting to know the field, he also saw how naturally his passion for music fit into it — so he dove into TouchDesigner, starting with audio-reactive visuals.
His work balances clean digital structure with natural, chaotic form, and it is never static — it keeps changing, driven by code or by the people interacting with it. He has worked on projects for various brands, including Lexus, BI Group and Yandex.
Beyond commissions, Kirill co-organized Rhythms & Patterns, a festival of generative and tech art in Almaty. He has taught creative coding and generative graphics to 50+ students through courses and workshops.
